19TH CENTURY SCRIMSHAW TOOTH decorated on the front with a panoramic whaling scene showing the starboard view of a British whale ship and four of her whale boats actively engaged in sperm whaling. About nine whales depicted and one of the boats is being upended by one of them. The reverse with palm trees and a south seas island woman carrying a fish. Condition very good. Nice mellow age color throughout. 6 1/4" l x 2 3/4" w.
