Sea Captain's Cane
Description
19TH CENTURY WOOD WALKING STICK CARVED WITH MULTIPLE ROPE WORK MOTIFS. The upper 16 1/2" done in four twisted rope designs that are separated by three carved turk's head knots. The top of the handle with classic crown/monkey fist knot. Overall length 36". Condition fine. Great age color. No ferrule. Circa 1840. From my personal collection
